Did ya'll see this? The winner for the ASLA Student Awards for the Analysis and Planning category (the one we entered for Bob's class) went to a project that deals with issues of temporary settlements in Mumbai, India. Specifically, it creates "an entirely functioning landscape built from human excreta." Sounds like a thesis topic.
Nice, I will have to look at the details of this. I am hoping to enter my thesis this spring.
